Fortus Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the industry. We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking for a Senior Repairs Administrator to join their responsive repairs team in Brentwood. This is a permanent position focused on managing workflow, delivering excellent customer service, overseeing a team of up to 15 administrators/planners, and ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved within a fast-paced repairs and maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day workflow within the responsive repairs team
- Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of up to 15 staff members
- Monitoring and tracking KPIs to ensure service delivery targets are achieved
- Delivering a high standard of customer service and resolving escalated queries
- Managing repairs administration processes from job allocation through to completion
- Liaising with operatives, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
- Ensuring works are scheduled efficiently and completed within agreed timescales
- Producing reports and analysing performance data to identify improvements
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Supporting senior management with operational and performance reporting
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and service level agreements
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a Senior Administrator, Repairs Administrator, or Planning role
- Experience working within responsive repairs, social housing, or maintenance environments
- Proven experience managing or supervising teams
- Strong understanding of KPI management and service performance monitoring
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and internal scheduling systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
