We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker / Bricklayer Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team working across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire on social housing repair and maintenance contracts. This is a mobile role carrying out a variety of reactive and planned repair works to occupied and void properties. A company van and fuel card will be supplied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brickwork repairs and repointing
  • Slab laying, paving and fencing repairs
  • Concrete and drainage repairs
  • Groundworks including excavation and reinstatement
  • Carrying out general multi-trade repair works where required
  • Working within occupied social housing properties and communal areas
  • Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Groundworker and Bricklayer
  • Experience working within social housing or domestic repairs environment preferred
  • Ability to carry out multi-trade works beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
