Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit an experienced Plumber to join their repairs and maintenance team. This is a permanent position carrying out reactive maintenance and repair work within occupied and void residential properties. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card and will be expected to deliver high-quality plumbing repairs and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Working on unvented hot water systems
- Replacing and repairing cylinders, pipework, taps, valves and sanitary ware
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
- Providing a professional service to tenants and clients
- Proven experience as a Plumber within domestic or social housing environments
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
