Fortus Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Fire Door Carpenters to join a growing team working across Bedford, London, and surrounding areas. This is long-term, continuous work carrying out fire door installations and remedial works on a range of projects including MOD barracks, schools, hospitals, and other public sector buildings.
Duties Include:
- Fitting and installing fire doors
- Carrying out fire door remedial works and maintenance
- Working in line with BM Trada standards and fire safety regulations
- Completing works across occupied and live environments
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance at all times
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery
- Valid CSCS Card
- Clean DBS check
- Previous experience with fire doors and remedials
- Strong understanding of BM Trada standards
Location: Bedford to London coverage
Rate: £200 - £220 per day
