We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade / General Builder to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across occupied residential properties for an established maintenance contractor in Andover and the surrounding areas. The role will involve a broad range of internal and external building works, with a strong focus on carpentry and general building. The successful candidate will need to be confident working independently in occupied properties and completing repairs to a high standard. Duties Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance Completing advanced carpentry and general building repairs Carrying out kitchen and bathroom repairs, installations and refurbishments Completing wall and floor tiling Carrying out vinyl floor laying and repairs Completing patch plastering and making good Carrying out minor plumbing repairs Completing fencing repairs and replacements Carrying out external works including paving, slabbing, concreting and pathway repairs Completing brickwork repairs, pointing and general external maintenance Diagnosing faults and completing repairs independently Working professionally within occupied properties Completing works within agreed timescales and service levels Recording completed works and materials used Requirements Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative / General Builder Strong carpentry background Extensive experience carrying out responsive repairs Experience working in occupied residential properties Competent across carpentry, general building, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, flooring, fencing and basic plumbing Good patch plastering and making-good skills Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload Full UK driving licence Own tools required Details Full-time position Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Ongoing work available Company van provided Fuel card provided Working across Andover and surrounding areas Please apply if you are interested in the role or would like to find out further information.
