Administrator/Personal Assistant

Construction Contractor

Up to GBP35,000 PA

Our client, an established construction contractor operating nationally, is looking for an experienced Administrator/PA to join their growing team.

In this role, you will report directly to the regional director, assisting him daily and supporting the efficient running of his team and division. The company typically delivers cladding remediation to public and private sector clients.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting and welcoming clients, visitors, suppliers, staff, and external contacts
  2. Answering and screening telephone calls, enquiries, and requests
  3. Sorting and distributing mail, scanning, and printing documents
  4. Scheduling appointments and meetings for the team
  5. Creating agendas for meetings and conferences
  6. Taking meeting minutes
  7. Making travel arrangements
  8. Processing orders via email, phone, and online
  9. Providing IT/Site Support and issuing ID Cards
  10. Getting equipment and materials for new personnel
  11. Supervising office services such as cleaners and maintenance staff
  12. Setting up new IT/phone equipment and maintaining the asset database
  13. Ordering and tracking office supplies, furniture, and equipment
  14. Filing and maintaining documents and records
  15. Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and standards
  16. Using office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases
  17. Attending meetings and conferences as required
  18. Completing timesheets, expense claims, purchase orders, and other company documents on time
  19. Understanding and achieving personal development goals as per PDRs
  20. Contributing to the efficient running of the business by suggesting improvements
