We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Staines.
Duties
- Carrying out roofing repairs across occupied properties
- Replacing roof tiles, felt, battens and flat roofing systems
- Completing leadwork, chimney repairs and replacing ridge tiles
- Repairing guttering, fascias, soffits and downpipes
- Identifying roofing defects and carrying out remedial works
- Responding to emergency repairs, including leaks and storm damage
- Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
- Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with residents
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing
- Knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week)
- Company van and fuel card provided
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
