Repairs Planner / Scheduler
Location: Loughton
Salary: Up to £34,000
Contract: Permanent
We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit a Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join their team based in Loughton.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planner or Scheduler with a background in repairs and maintenance to manage the daily diaries of 12 operatives, coordinate subcontractors and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily diaries of 12 operatives.
- Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs efficiently.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor their workloads.
- Liaise with operatives, supervisors, subcontractors and residents regarding appointments and work updates.
- Monitor outstanding jobs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Manage cancellations, rebook appointments and resolve scheduling issues.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Provide updates to the operations team on job progress and outstanding works.
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting the smooth running of the repairs service.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Scheduler or in a similar coordination role.
- Experience within repairs, maintenance, social housing or property services.
- Ability to manage multiple operatives' diaries and coordinate subcontractors.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising workloads.
- Good IT skills and experience using repairs management systems.
