Fortus Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor for experienced FRA Carpenters / Fire Door Installers to join their growing team on long-term projects across North London. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work carrying out both full fire door installations and fire door remedial works within occupied residential properties.

The Role:

  • Full Fire Door Installations
  • Fire Door Remedial Works
  • Removal of existing doors and frames
  • Installation of complete fire door sets
  • Working in line with current Fire Door Regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Completing digital job sheets and photographic evidence using the Boris App
  • Congestion Charge and Parking will be reimbursed (receipts required).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience installing and/or remediating fire doors
  • Blue CSCS Card
  • Own suitable van, tools and PPE
  • Good understanding of Fire Door Regulations
  • Ability to use the Boris App to complete reports and photo evidence
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel across London

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • DBS Certificate
  • Manual Handling
