My client are an established construction contractor who are currently recruiting for an Operations Director to head up their Fire Safety division across London & South East.
The Role:
- Within this role, you will work alongside a Commercial Director ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
- You would be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting.
- Your direct team will include contract managers, supervisors & office staff.
- You will report directly to the Managing Director who will support you in making the contracts a success.
The Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire safety works (fire door installation & fire stopping works).
- Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations.
- A good knowledge of up-to-date legislations and strong organisational skills is also desired.
- Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members.
