An established property services contractor is looking for experienced Carpenter Multis to join their team working in and around Basingstoke.

This is a temp to perm opportunity, working on a long-term social housing maintenance contract carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across occupied and void properties.

The Role

  • Carry out carpentry repairs in occupied and void properties
  • Complete first and second fix carpentry works
  • Undertake additional multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating
  • Diagnose repair issues and complete work to a high standard
  • Respond to reactive maintenance jobs
  • Keep tenants informed of work being carried out
  • Complete job sheets and records as required

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent experience
  • Experience working within social housing or property maintenance
  • Good all-round multi-trade skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Friendly and professional approach
