Day to Day Repairs & Planned Maintenance β Property Services
Up to Β£60,000 Plus Package
Our client, a national construction contractor, is currently looking for an Operations Manager to lead their direct labour team on day to day Responsive Repair & Planned Works contracts.
The Role:
Within this role, you will work alongside a Commercial Manager and the Operations Director ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You will be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Your direct team will include Contract managers, project managers, supervisors, a direct labour team & office staff. You will report directly to the Operations Director who will support you in making the service a success.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience in responsive maintenance and partnering frameworks. Experience managing multiple site teams, a large DLO, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations is essential. A good knowledge of up to date legislations and strong organisational skills is also desired. You should have the ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members. Building teams to hit and overachieve KPIs and Targets is crucial. You must also have the ability to manage P&L on contracts.
