Features Writer, Fortune 500 Europe C-Suite Reporting to: Editor, Features & F500 C-Suite Department: Community and Events Fortune is hiring a journalist with a sharp pen and sharper mind to write deeply reported, agenda-setting features for our growing Europe C-suite community. You’ll craft longform stories that help senior executives at the region’s largest companies make sense of the forces shaping their industries and lives—macroeconomic shifts, market turbulence, boardroom trends, policy tensions, and the strategies of their peers. Your reporting will blend original sourcing, clear insight, and narrative flair. You’ll capture the tone of the moment—and the voice of leadership. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-impact editorial initiative built for and around the needs of top decision-makers in Europe. You’ll work closely with a small, ambitious team—including a dedicated C-suite editor and a network of contributors—and draw on Fortune’s global leadership network, editorial archive, and live-event platform to source ideas and deepen reporting. You’ll also contribute to the editorial development of flagship Fortune lists, including the Fortune 500 Europe and 100 Best Companies to Work For Europe —from high-profile features to short-form blurbs and data-driven storytelling. What you’ll do: Produce deeply reported, high-impact content including articles, video, and audio for Europe’s Fortune 500 C-suite community Surface emerging themes, tensions, and power dynamics from boardrooms across the continent Contribute to Fortune Europe’s list franchises through feature stories, blurbs, and package development Collaborate with the U.S. Executive Editor for Features and the UK-based Editor, Features & F500 C-Suite Shape print and digital packages that could include text, video or audio that set the editorial agenda across industries and regions Represent Fortune at off-the-record dinners, CEO interviews, and European events to build relationships and generate ideas You’re a strong fit if you: Are an experienced features writer with a track record of ambitious, original business journalism Can report across borders and sectors with clarity, precision, and storytelling strength Know how to earn the trust of senior sources and identify what matters—before it hits the headlines Understand the cadence of magazine writing, social and onsite video, audio and thrive in a fast-moving, community-first environment Bring a global mindset and deep curiosity about European markets, companies, and power structures About Fortune Fortune is a global business media brand covering the ideas, people, and strategies shaping the future.
