We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Support Specialist to join our IT team based at our Westerham site. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver projects, support end-users, and ensure the smooth running of our networks, servers, and key technology platforms. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same from providing 1st and 2nd line support, to managing infrastructure, to driving forward key improvements across our systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting all IT Infrastructure, Networks, and Operations across the EMEAA business.
- Managing IT assets, including building equipment to required standards.
- Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshooting across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Assisting with employee onboarding (workstation setup, email configuration, training).
- Supporting cloud-based services and business-critical applications.
- Deploying software updates and patches.
- Documenting solutions and maintaining knowledge bases for improved support.
- Designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud environments).
- Managing virtualised environments and ensuring system performance.
- Keeping systems secure with regular patches and updates.
- Escalating complex issues to senior teams when required.
What You’ll Already Have:
- Microsoft Server Certification (installation, Active Directory, remote admin, security).
- Knowledge of Network Switching fundamentals.
- Strong experience with Windows OS and the Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud.
- Experience administering Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow) and ITSM/ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, SCCM, Intune.
- Strong knowledge of VLANs, Firewalls, Fortinet, V-Center, Backup solutions, Phone systems, Print Server, and Anti-virus.
- Excellent problem-solving, listening, and multitasking skills.
- Calm under pressure with strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 5+ years IT infrastructure experience.
