Fortress Safety are looking for a Product Manager – we are the experts in machinery safety and interlocking, since 1977 we’ve been protecting people and equipment in hazardous situations across the World.
Using your experience gained in Engineering or Manufacturing you\’ll be leading growth, profitability, and performance optimisation across key products in our global portfolio. You’ll simplify complex concepts, define product vision, and collaborate across engineering, technical sales, and marketing to deliver solutions that meet real customer needs. Unfortunately this role will not suit someone with a background in Tech / IT / SaaS.
- Develop deep knowledge of product applications, user needs, and global standards.
- Define market-driven product requirements and build strong business cases for new product development (NPD).
- Manage product lifecycle, ensuring technical performance and customer alignment.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support development, testing, and go-to-market execution.
- Engage customers and partners through webinars, site visits, tradeshows, and training.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in Product Management, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.
- Knowledge of machinery safety, industrial access control, or automation systems.
- Understanding of product development and new product launch processes.
- Background in B2B engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
- Technical aptitude and a growth mindset.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
