Fortress Safety is a rapidly growing organisation, headquartered in Wolverhampton. Due to our ambitious growth plans, we are on the lookout for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
If you are passionate about Manufacturing, Engineering and Automation and have recent experience of managing Manufacturing Engineering teams, then this could be the ideal role for you.
This is a highly visible role in our business and reports to our Head of Manufacturing.
You will play a key role in establishing a global network of efficient and high-quality manufacturing facilities that can leverage the advantages of being close to the market. As an excellent communicator who is driven and committed to quality, continuous improvement, you will have previous experience in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of electro-mechanical assembly and production processes, as well as a demonstrable background in lean manufacturing techniques.
You will have experience in managing diverse Manufacturing Engineering teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments in an agile and dynamic way, tackling unexpected & emerging issues.
You will also be an excellent communicator, organised and a self starter who is able to build excellent relationships with your team and peers.
