Fortress Recruit are working with a global leader in marine technology and sustainable engineering solutions to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to support the continued growth of their UK Marine Lifecycle business. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven marine professional to manage and develop customer relationships across the Ferry and Dredger sectors, supporting lifecycle sales activity including upgrades, retrofit projects, service agreements, spare parts, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers across the marine sector.
- Support lifecycle sales activity including upgrades, retrofit solutions, service agreements, field service and spare parts opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
- Lead and support sales opportunities within your designated market area.
- Maintain and manage CRM opportunity pipelines in line with company guidelines.
- Produce customer visit reports and maintain accurate sales activity records.
- Support customers with maintenance planning and long-term lifecycle strategies where applicable.
Proven experience within marine engineering, marine technical sales, business development, or lifecycle/service sales environments is required. A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop profitable customer opportunities is essential. Experience working within marine propulsion, engines, power systems, electrical systems, or related marine technologies is also necessary. Excellent consultative selling and relationship management skills are important. Previous experience within propulsion, service, retrofit, or lifecycle-focused marine businesses is advantageous.
