Fortrea is looking for an HR Advisor to join our Leeds team. This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working.
The HR Advisor is an amazing opportunity to step into the clinical industry in a hands-on role where you will be at the heart of the operational excellence of Fortrea, a global Contract Research Organization delivering groundbreaking solutions to advance therapies and drugs.
As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive Human Resources service for all employees in the UK. You will be based in Leeds, reporting into the Senior Employee Relations Manager and supporting the HRBP, who are both mostly remote. You will provide sound, sensible HR advice and operational support for employees, line managers, and the Senior team on site as well as business units across the UK, ensuring consistency and compliance in HR practices.
This is a brand-new role so you will be able to add value and bring ideas with you! We’re looking for someone who is a ‘people person’ with strong communication and organisational skills. You should be confident to work on your own, have a positive attitude, and be able to multitask. A typical day may include absence management, policy writing, introducing AI, running training sessions, working with the senior team, or managing ER cases.
This role will suit someone with at least 3 years of HR / ER experience and looking for a further challenge. We’d love you to have your CIPD, but working towards or equivalent experience will be considered. This is a minimum of 3 days on site in Leeds with 2 days from home. You don’t need a background in the CRO industry, but a willingness to learn is essential. We are open to making this role work for you. Please discuss any flexible working arrangements you’d like us to consider.
What you can expect from us:
- Career Growth: Expand your skill set and broaden your expertise in a supportive environment, with numerous opportunities for career advancement.
- Impactful Work: Contribute directly to the development of groundbreaking therapies and treatments, improving the lives of patients worldwide.
- Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits, and a rewarding bonus structure. This role is likely to be around £40k – £45k.
- Continuous improvement and personal development.
