We are seeking a detail-oriented SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient database solutions. This role focuses on writing optimized queries, managing data structures, and supporting business intelligence and application development needs. The ideal candidate brings strong database expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
  • Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Create and maintain database documentation and data models
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar database role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar)
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Solid understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes
  • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, or similar)
  • Exposure to cloud database platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or similar)
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts
