We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Engineer to protect and enhance the organization’s security infrastructure. This role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. The ideal candidate brings hands-on cybersecurity experience, strong technical expertise, and a risk-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and monitor security solutions across networks, systems, and applications
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security testing
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in line with security policies
- Configure and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Investigate and resolve cybersecurity incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture
- Maintain security documentation, procedures, and incident reports
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security roles
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and risk management
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and security monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices
- Experience with vulnerability management and incident response
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Mandatory Certification (at least one): Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud security on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or QRadar
- Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with penetration testing or threat intelligence tools
