We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to manage and support network infrastructure. This role focuses on monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring secure and reliable communication systems. The ideal candidate has strong networking fundamentals and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure minimal downtime
- Configure and support network devices and services
- Perform network performance monitoring and optimization
- Support VPNs, firewalls, and network security implementations
- Assist in network upgrades, installations, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in network support or administration
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configurations
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Mandatory Certification (at least one): Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
