We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to provide reliable technical support across end-user systems and IT infrastructure. The role involves resolving complex support issues, supporting business-critical systems, and contributing to stable IT operations. This position suits professionals who can work independently, take ownership of incidents, and support users in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line (and advanced 1st line) IT support to end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
- Support Windows desktops/laptops and business applications
- Administer user accounts, access rights, and permissions
- Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Manage incidents and service requests using ticketing systems
- Escalate complex issues to infrastructure, cloud, or security teams
- Support system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, or Service Desk roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with Active Directory or user access management
- Familiarity with ticketing and IT service management tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience supporting users in a corporate or enterprise environment
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Knowledge of endpoint management or security tools
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent)
