We are looking for a motivated Cloud Operations Technician to support day-to-day cloud operations and monitoring activities. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who have basic cloud knowledge and want hands-on experience supporting live cloud environments in a structured and supportive team.
You will work alongside cloud and infrastructure engineers to help maintain system availability, resolve incidents, and support operational tasks across cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cloud systems, services, and alerts to ensure availability and performance
- Assist with incident logging, tracking, and resolution
- Support basic cloud infrastructure tasks under supervision
- Help manage user access and permissions
- Assist with routine maintenance, patching, and system checks
- Escalate technical issues to senior cloud or infrastructure teams
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks
- Follow cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud β training or labs acceptable)
- Understanding of operating system fundamentals (Windows and/or Linux)
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, VPN concepts)
- Willingness to learn cloud operations and monitoring tools
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Entry-level cloud certification or training (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, or equivalent β completed or in progress)
- Exposure to monitoring or ticketing systems
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Internship, lab, or academic project experience in cloud or IT operations
