About the Role
Position Responsibilities:
- Solve network connectivity incidents (this includes routing, switching and security).
- Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures as per standard methodologies.
- Identify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stability.
- Producing high quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls for all network changes.
- Undertake necessary trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
Qualification:
- Solid grasp of network routing and switching, especially in CISCO technologies.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols and an understanding of EIGRP, BGP, and IP multicast.
- Management of LAN/WAN and Wireless LAN environments including device protocols and communication standards, such as Cisco or Fortinet.
- Administration of Firewall systems such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint or Cisco.
- Knowledge of Load balancer solutions and VPN and Remote Access solutions.
- Associate level Network certification (CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of Implementing and supporting large corporate or data centre networks preferably in a multi-client, service provider environment.
- Honesty, sincerity, and a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working with UK hours.
- Have basic amenities such as high-speed internet, a laptop, and noise-cancelation headphones.
