We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Engineer with 3+ years of experience in the retail industry to manage sourcing, vendor evaluation, and procurement operations. The role involves ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing
  • Identify and evaluate vendors and suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely supply
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for smooth procurement planning
  • Handle vendor relationship management and address any supply-related issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles (preferably in retail)
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools)
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of cost analysis and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
