We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented E-Learning Developer to design and deliver engaging digital learning solutions. This role focuses on developing interactive courses, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences aligned with UK standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience within the UK market, strong instructional design capabilities, and proficiency with e-learning authoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive e-learning courses, modules, and digital content
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate content into engaging learning experiences
- Create storyboards, scripts, and instructional materials
- Develop multimedia content (videos, animations, quizzes, simulations)
- Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and UK compliance standards
- Maintain and update existing e-learning content
- Integrate courses into Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Monitor learner engagement and performance to improve course effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in e-learning development within the UK
- Strong experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate
- Knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE)
- Experience with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Mandatory Certification (at least one):
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) / ATD Certification
- Instructional Design Certification (e.g., IDOL, Coursera/recognized provider)
- Adobe Certified Professional (relevant to e-learning tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms
- Experience with video editing and graphic design tools
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
- Understanding of data analytics for learning performance
- Experience working in corporate training or educational institutions
