Having delivered the spirit of Christmas 318 times to the farthest-flung corners of the globe, the team at Fortnum & Mason is on hand to provide exceptional service through multiple-channels, at the most memorable time of the year. Whether you\βre making your first journey or fiftieth, a trip to Fortnum & Mason is always an occasion to remember. After all, extraordinary food and drink, joy-giving things, and exceptional service have been the order of the day at 181 Piccadilly since 1707.
Our Reservation Coordinator should be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days from 9am to 6pm including weekends, on a 45 hour per week contract. No extensive holidays can be considered during seasonal contracts due to business needs.
Key Accountabilities
Manage all restaurant bookings, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms
Assist in planning and organising group bookings and special requests
Manage payments and prepayments through SevenRooms, including issuing payment links when required
Liaise with front of house and kitchen teams to ensure all reservation details and special requirements are communicated clearly
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or modifications with care
We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:
Experience within a reservations or customer service role, ideally within a Hospitality or luxury setting
Familiarity with SevenRooms, Zendesk, and OpenTable is desirable
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding customer expectations
The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
