Fortnum & Mason is looking for a strategic, data‑driven Merchandiser to lead our Fresh & Bakery team. Sitting in the heart of Piccadilly, our Head Office is a dynamic hub where you’ll help shape one of our most exciting categories.

The Role

In this fast‑paced position, you’ll drive commercial performance through precise forecasting, advanced replenishment, and smart stock planning.

What You’ll Lead

  • Optimising RELEX AI to deliver accurate demand forecasting and store replenishment
  • Managing availability, wastage and product lifecycles across core and seasonal ranges
  • Delivering weekly sales and margin reporting through WSSI
  • Collaborating with Buying, Branch Merchandising, Retail, Online, Marketing, Logistics and in‑house Chefs
  • Leading and developing an Assistant Merchandiser and a MAA

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Merchandiser or Planner (Grocery, FMCG or Perishables preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills — LOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and modelling
  • Commercially sharp with strong margin, markdown and wastage understanding
  • Able to make fast, informed decisions
