Fortnum & Mason are looking for an exceptional Waiter/Waitress to join our renowned Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon at our iconic Piccadilly flagship store. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will help deliver the world-class service that our guests have come to expect, ensuring every visit is truly special from arrival to departure.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional service to guests throughout their dining experience
  • Maintain your station and section to the highest standards at all times
  • Prepare and set tables in accordance with Fortnum & Mason service standards
  • Demonstrate excellent menu knowledge, including our Afternoon Tea offering, teas, cakes and seasonal menus
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently
  • Work closely with Head Waiters and management to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through attentive, personalised service
  • Handle guest feedback, requests and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Support colleagues to create a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Ensure all health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, restaurant, Afternoon Tea or fine dining environment
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional, polished presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
  • A keen interest in food, beverage and the Fortnum & Mason brand
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods
