We are now looking for an outstanding individual with a strong retail background to join us in the role of Deputy Store Manager of our store. Our Deputy Store Manager will continue the tradition of delivering a world class experience to the customers of Fortnum & Mason. Working in partnership with our Bicester Village Store Manager, our Deputy will ensure the store meets and exceeds Fortnum & Mason's standards and targets, while always adhering to our company objectives, vision and values.

In addition, our candidate will coach and develop our sales team, ultimately coordinating, supervising and overseeing the planning, organisation and delegation of work. Also involved in trade and KPI reporting, our Deputy Manager will pull and communicate this information to our executive team, as well as the wider business on a continual basis.

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Experience in managing a skilled and diverse team
  • Knowledge of recruitment and HR functions, within a retail environment
  • Experience in building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to interpret financial and business reports
  • Full flexibility to work varying shift patterns (including early mornings, late nights & weekends)
