Our Head Office department is in the heart of Piccadilly and occupies the 5th & 6th floor of our beautiful flagship store. This central London location offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.

Lead Fortnum’s store transformation strategy and delivery. Build a scalable pipeline of new stores, refurbishments, and format innovation that strengthens growth, customer experience, and brand standards.

Strategic Planning
  • Set the transformation strategy aligned to growth and brand priorities.
  • Shape a balanced, scalable project pipeline.
  • Define budgets, resource needs, and investment cases.
  • Lead delivery from concept to launch.
  • Manage interdependencies, risks, and escalation.
  • Embed clear methodologies, readiness, and QA.
Stakeholder Leadership
  • Align activity with brand, omni‑channel, and commercial goals.
  • Maintain governance frameworks including RACI and comms.
  • Drive clarity, collaboration, and disciplined ways of working.
  • Lead a high‑performing multidisciplinary team.
  • Build capability across PMO, design, and delivery.
  • Promote positive, collaborative working behaviours.
Governance & Financial Management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering.
  • Track benefits, KPIs, risks, and performance.
Process Improvement
  • Standardise project frameworks and reporting.
  • Embed best practice to enhance efficiency and scale.
  • Champion knowledge‑sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships.
  • Negotiate terms and manage performance for quality and value.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strategic, commercially astute, and customer‑centric.
  • Experienced in leading complex portfolios and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communicator and influencer.
  • Design‑literate, governance‑minded, and resilient in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Extensive experience in store transformation or retail development.
  • Strong background in strategy, design management, construction, and compliance.
  • Proven success managing large budgets and suppliers.
  • Formal PM qualification desirable.
