We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join the opening team of our newest Fortnum & Mason store in Heathrow Terminal 2. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting launch, delivering exceptional service to an international audience in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment.

Supporting the Store and Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading the shop floor, driving sales, and ensuring outstanding standards across all areas of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Store and Deputy Manager in supervising and motivating the team on the shop floor.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure Fortnum & Mason's brand standards are consistently met.
  • Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and strong floor leadership.
  • Assist with daily operations including stock replenishment, merchandising, and cash handling.
  • Help onboard, train, and support new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and Heathrow operational requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a supervisory or senior sales role within retail or hospitality.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales performance.
  • Highly organised and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
