Join Fortnum & Mason during our most magical and exciting time of year. We’re looking for a Retail Replenisher to join our Stock Operations Replenishment Team and help keep our iconic store beautifully stocked throughout the busy Christmas period.
From festive favourites to much-loved Fortnum’s classics, you’ll work behind the scenes to make sure products move efficiently from our stock areas to the shop floor, helping our customers enjoy the very best Fortnum’s experience during peak season.
This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week on a fixed-term contract until the end of December. As Christmas is one of our busiest periods, we’re looking for candidates who can offer flexibility to work shifts across different days of the week.
Please note that this is a physically demanding role. You’ll spend much of your shift on your feet and will regularly be moving, lifting and handling stock as part of the replenishment process.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our dedicated Stock Operations Replenishment Team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our store stocked, beautifully presented and ready for the Christmas rush. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily stock picks to support the trading floor
- Completing auto-generated picks and responding to manual stock requests
- Replenishing displays to Fortnum’s high standards of presentation and quality
- Reporting stock shortages and flagging potential quality concerns
- Processing inbound transfers from our external distribution centre and receiving direct supplier deliveries
- Working closely with Stock Operations Supervisors and Admin Teams to maintain smooth stock flow and availability
- Supporting the wider team during busy trading periods to ensure products reach the shop floor efficiently
It’s a hands‑on, active role, so you’ll need to be comfortable working at pace and completing physical tasks throughout your shift.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone reliable, energetic and ready to get stuck in during our busiest season. You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in replenishment, stock operations, retail or a similar environment
- Experience and confidence with manual handling
- The ability to comfortably undertake the physical requirements of the role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A proactive and positive approach
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your workload
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
- Good awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- An understanding of stock, warehouse or replenishment processes
