We are a cutting-edge electronics manufacturing company specializing in high-precision instrumentation for the test and measurement industry. Our solutions empower engineers, researchers, and innovators across the globe. As we expand our automation capabilities, we're seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in software, robotics, and industrial automation to join our dynamic team.

As a Manufacturing Engineer in Software, Robotics & Automation, you’ll focus on introducing practical automation into products and processes that were originally designed for manual or non-automated environments. Our products span a varied spectrum of complex assembly requirements, and you’ll help translate that variability into scalable bespoke automation approaches. You’ll assess what can be automated safely and cost-effectively, define the right architecture and interfaces, and deliver robust, creative and innovative solutions that can be supported on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess existing products/processes and identify automation opportunities, constraints, and required design changes.
  • Design, develop, and integrate automation solutions (robotics, tooling, test/inspection) into existing manufacturing workflows.
  • Define interfaces between product, fixtures, and control software; partner with design and hardware teams to enable automation readiness.
  • Implement sensing and inspection (e.g., vision, force/torque, basic analytics) to improve quality and reduce manual steps.
  • Validate and troubleshoot automation in production: safety, cycle time, yield, uptime, and maintainability.
  • Create and maintain requirements, commissioning/validation records, and user documentation for long-term support.
What We’re Looking For:Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in one or more automation-focused languages/tools (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW) and version control.
  • Multiple engineering disciplines – Mechanical / Electronic / Electrical.
  • Hands-on experience integrating industrial automation (robotics/automated assembly solutions) into manufacturing. Evidence of past projects.
  • Working knowledge of controls integration (PLC/HMI, I/O, sensors/actuators, pneumatics).
  • Strong understanding of assembly and test manufacturing, including process development, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, continuous improvement and communication skills; able to translate factory needs into clear technical requirements.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with commissioning and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ or equivalent) and risk assessment (e.g., PFMEA).
  • Experience with motion systems and/or machine vision for inspection and error-proofing in a production setting.
  • Exposure to manufacturing data collection (traceability, OEE, basic dashboards) and system connectivity where needed.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on cutting-edge technology in a high-impact industry.
  • Be part of a collaborative, innovation-driven team.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and training.
  • Flexible work environment and supportive leadership.
