We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is customer-obsessed to join our team as an HR Operations Specialist. In this role, you will report to the HR Specialized Services Leader, EMEA. You will be responsible for managing and administering transactional support across the entire employee lifecycle, including Talent Management, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Employee Transitions.

Your responsibilities will include managing HR requests and cases from Fortive HRBPs and employees, administering benefits and compensation programs, and handling termination and severance processes. You will also be tasked with identifying and resolving data discrepancies or errors to ensure a positive employee experience. This involves working closely with HRIS systems and other data management tools to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Your attention to detail and commitment to data integrity will be crucial for accurate reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee support, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other employee matters via voice, chat, and case management tools across the EMEA region.
  • Act as a player/coach by providing guidance and support to team members while managing individual tasks.
  • Support daily visual management to meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs, providing operational support to the People Leader.
  • Continuously improve employee support processes and knowledge bases through feedback analysis and recommended solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization to streamline workflows.
  • Manage employee separation activities, including severance calculations, preparing separation packages, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Provide necessary documentation to employees and serve as the point of contact during offboarding, handling inquiries professionally and empathetically.
  • Ensure accurate data administration related to employee separations, updating HRIS systems and maintaining records.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements, including automation and workflow enhancements.
  • Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate benefit processing.
  • Manage data errors between systems, ensuring accurate outputs and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Partner with external service providers for benefits administration and enrollment support.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with error reporting and resolution across HR systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Attention to data integrity with experience in data audits and validation.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, data management, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation and process enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR administration experience, with knowledge of UK and Ireland labor law.
  • Experience with knowledge management and case management systems.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems like Oracle; experience with ADP (Global View) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German.
