About the role: The candidate is expected to manage a network of Distribution Channels in the UK&I, conduct direct business meetings with strategic channel partners, daily manage revenue and bookings forecast, coordinate regional activities with sales and marketing teams, sales operations, and marketing activities. The candidate will deal with day-to-day sales related tasks, manage actions that increase the Fluke market share and mindshare by ensuring engagement of and commitment from channel partners on cooperative business planning. The candidate will also provide strategic direction and define strategic priorities to the managed accounts, which operate across the UK&I. The function involves interaction with diverse employees in various countries in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving annual sales objectives
- Participating in strategic planning for the managed accounts
- Driving operational efficiencies and high performance through the use of the Fortive Business Systems (FBS) tools
- Using daily management to track performance and drive actions
- Tracking competition moves and providing market intelligence updates
The Channel Team: The EMEA Channel Sales function is made up of a diverse team of 43 highly skilled and engaged associates from all of the EMEA region, managing more than 120 countries. The team shares common values on high performance, setting high expectations, work ethics, compliance and integrity, knowledge sharing among the regions, and helping each other out to achieve the EMEA goals.
Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field, such as Engineering, Physics, or Business Management
- Experience in Key Account Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Market, the Wholesale market
- Experience in Channel Management, including Value Added Resellers and Electrical/Industrial wholesalers
