I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager (Electrical) to join a leading UK engineering and services business, based out of Murton in the North East. This is a senior delivery role with responsibility for taking ownership of a major electrical project, from pre-construction through to completion. You'll play a key role in shaping the delivery strategy, leading the project team and electrical supply chain, managing programme and commercial performance, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
The role You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the safe, timely and high-quality delivery of a major electrical project
- Managing programme, cost, commercial performance, risk and project governance
- Leading project teams and specialist electrical subcontractors
- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Driving high standards of health, safety and quality
- Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
- Providing effective reporting, forecasting and project governance
About you We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering electrical packages on major construction projects. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience managing project teams and specialist subcontractors
- Strong commercial and programme management skills
- Excellent client and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong leadership skills
