Contract Health & Safety Manager – Data Centre Project
Location: East London
Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in East London. The successful candidate will ensure compliance, drive a positive safety culture, and support the safe delivery of construction and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site Health & Safety activities.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Review RAMS and support high-risk works.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and performance.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and project standards.
Requirements
- Proven Health & Safety management experience on construction, infrastructure, M&E, MEP, or Data Centre projects.
- NEBOSH qualification.
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK HSE legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Available for an immediate start.
Desirable
- Previous Data Centre or mission-critical project experience.
- IOSH, IIRSM, or similar professional membership.
- Experience with commissioning, energisation, and permit-to-work systems.
