The Role

We are seeking an experienced Health Safety Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in East London. The successful candidate will ensure compliance, drive a positive safety culture, and support the safe delivery of construction and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site Health Safety activities.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Review RAMS and support high-risk works.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and performance.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and project standards.

Requirements

  • Proven Health Safety management experience on construction, infrastructure, M E, MEP, or Data Centre projects.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK HSE legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Available for an immediate start.

Desirable

  • Previous Data Centre or mission-critical project experience.
  • IOSH, IIRSM, or similar professional membership.
  • Experience with commissioning, energisation, and permit-to-work systems.
