Fortius Clinic are hiring a Nurse to join their Surgical Centre in Marylebone, London. Fixed Term Contract - 12 months. Surgical Centre based in Marylebone, London. 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are 8-12 hours long. 4 night shifts per month only. Monday - Friday work only.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a current active NMC PIN
  • A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in Hospital / NHS
  • Ability to be flexible with a rota
  • Able to work 4 night shifts per month
  • Undertaken a relevant phlebotomy course and current clinical practice in this area
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Relevant orthopaedic experience
  • Good IT skills and ability to use clinical data systems
  • Basic understanding of patient care issues in day surgery
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of NMC professional code of conduct and its application
  • Understanding of fundamentals of nursing care and ability to deliver a high standard of individualised care
  • Up to date clinical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and some experience of managing a small team
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload
