We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Outpatients team. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the clinic while supporting junior colleagues and maintaining the highest levels of clinical quality and safety.
Principal accountability
Provide high-quality nursing care, maintain accurate patient records, and administer treatments in line with policies and protocols. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, support departmental standards, and assist in training and orienting staff. Maintain professional development and complete mandatory training, report incidents appropriately, monitor clinical equipment, and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Confident in taking bloods with Phlebotomy training.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience within the UK.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- IT literate with experience using electronic patient record (EPR) systems.
- Basic understanding of patient care requirements within an Orthopaedic Outpatients setting.
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and its practical application.
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of nursing care with the ability to deliver high-quality, individualised patient care.
- Orthopaedic experience is desirable.
