We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Bank Radiographer to join our expanding Imaging team at Fortius Clinic, the UK’s leading private centre for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. This opportunity is ideally suited to a radiographer looking to develop specialist experience in orthopaedic imaging within a dynamic, high-performing clinical environment.

As a Bank Radiographer, you will primarily support theatre II sessions, alongside contributing to general imaging services across our sites. You will also assist with MRI and CT patient positioning, with access to a structured MRI and CT training programme, enabling full competency in both modalities over approximately 18 months.

You will work across our state-of-the-art facilities:

  • Fortius Marylebone
  • Fortius Clinic London
  • Fortius City
  • Fortius Wimbledon
  • Fortius Surgical Centre

Our imaging fleet includes:

  • MRI: 1.5T Siemens Avanto, 1.5T Aera, 3T Spectra, 3T Lumina
  • CT: Siemens Somatom Scope
  • X-ray: Siemens DR Ysio rooms and DR/CR systems
  • DEXA scanner (coming soon)

Operating hours: Monday–Friday 07:00–22:00 and Saturday mornings.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality imaging, with a focus on theatre image intensifier (II) work
  • Provide X-ray services across all sites
  • Assist with MRI and CT positioning
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support workflow coordination and occasionally supervise bank/agency staff
  • Contribute to service delivery, audit, governance, and continuous improvement

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Maintain HCPC registration
  • Ensure patient and staff safety across all imaging environments
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism, empathy and discretion
  • Acquire diagnostic-quality images, adapting techniques to individual patient needs
  • Liaise with referrers to ensure appropriate imaging pathways
  • Operate advanced imaging systems with precision and care
