We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Outpatients team. Principal Accountabilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care, maintain accurate patient records, and administer treatments in line with policies and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, support departmental standards, and assist in training and orienting staff.
- Maintain professional development and complete mandatory training, report incidents appropriately, monitor clinical equipment, and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience within the UK.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- IT literate with experience using electronic patient record (EPR) systems.
- Basic understanding of patient care requirements within an Orthopaedic Outpatients setting.
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and its practical application.
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of nursing care with the ability to deliver high-quality, individualised patient care.
- Orthopaedic experience is desirable.
