An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high‑performing school community as a Cover Supervisor at Fortismere School. Fortismere is a high‑attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a Permanent basis. Our school vision is one which sees education, and the opportunities we make available, as having the potential to transform the lives of our young people.
The successful candidate will work with the Cover Manager and Supervisor to further improve the academic and extracurricular impact across the school community and will put students at the heart of what they do maintaining outstanding results and progress of our students. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to supervise students during teacher absence, ensuring that learning continues in a safe, structured, and positive environment. You will work with whole classes and small groups, managing behaviour, supporting students with set work, and providing feedback to teaching staff. This role is ideal for someone considering a career in teaching or looking to gain further experience in education.
