We're looking for a commercially minded underwriter with a flair for business development to help grow our EU warranty and assistance portfolio. You'll play a key role in shaping our strategy across multiple product lines β from warranty and embedded protection to home and roadside assistance β while developing new broker and distribution relationships across the UK and EU. What You'll Do
- Develop and grow an EU-facing underwriting portfolio across scalable, profitable segments.
- Originate, structure, and underwrite warranty and assistance business lines including:
- Phones, gadgets, and consumer electronics
- Electrical goods and small domestic appliances
- Scratch, dent & alloy cover
- Home and roadside assistance
- Embedded and opt-in warranty solutions
About You
- 5+ years' experience in warranty, assistance, or specialty underwriting, ideally within an MGA or carrier environment.
- Solid technical understanding with a proven ability to originate and underwrite profitable schemes.
- Strong broker and intermediary network, with experience managing and developing accounts.
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Equally happy negotiating a deal, refining a product, or shaping a growth plan.
