We are currently seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our ever-growing Smart Building workforce in the role of Project Management Office (PMO).
Role and Responsibilities:
The PMO role will include but not limited to working alongside Network & Software engineering teams to ensure the communication of the building systems into BMS Systems (Niagara Framework etc), Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP etc) and their own Platform. Project support shall be required through assistance to project manager and MSI director. This will be a rewarding and exciting career opportunity for the right Individual working on the cutting edge of Smart Building developments.
- Strategic support across multiple Projects
- Saving all documentation received to CDE/Project Drive
- Managing / distributing documents within external project management platforms e.g. Procore, Project Plus to ensure internal Smart Team have visibility to relevant documentation
- Ensuring internal / external project team have access to project folders.
- Project Coordination:
- Scheduling internal/external workshops. E.g: Regular project meetings / coordination meetings with external BMS/MEP/Lighting Contractors / coordination meetings with sub-contractors / training workshops to installation teams with vendors.
- Scheduling site visits / installations.
- Raising RAMS / permits where necessary alongside H&S Manager
- Scheduling site inductions.
- Coordinating equipment deliveries.
- Visibility of all external correspondence to ensure all open items are being tracked within project documentation e.g. RFI Tracker / Open Tasks Tracker.
- Chasing internal / external project teams where required for updates / escalating to Project Manager where required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior Experience in an M&E, Smart, Controls or Software Project Management role
- Education to Degree level with an emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, AV, Network or Software Engineering an advantage
- Understanding knowledge of M&E and controls systems
- Experience in supporting PM role and working as part of a team aligned to Lean & Agile project management an advantage
- Ability to collaborate as a team with vast array of skills across Software, Network & Building Services Engineering, Controls specialists and System Architects.
- Knowledge of working in AWS, GCP and migration of data from building outputs to data lake an advantage
- Previous experience working with a Master Systems Integrator or Controls Specialist an advantage
- Demonstrate an understanding and an ability to adopt the principles of:

- Cloud Data Storage such as AWS, GCP & Azure
- Google Digital Buildings https://google.github.io/digitalbuildings/
- Onboarding of Data from on site hardware to Cloud Storage through use of Integrators
- Integration of IAQ & Occupancy sensors
- Training and mentoring for the right candidate shall be offered
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with both internal and external customers
