Accident & Health Underwriter (Remote – Europe)
Our client, a rapidly expanding MGA is seeking a talented and driven Accident & Health Underwriter to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
- Underwrite a portfolio of Accident & Health products, with a focus on Accident and Travel insurance.
- Develop and grow existing and new business relationships across Europe.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the open market, schemes, or partner distribution channels.
- Provide technical expertise and support to brokers and clients.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting guidelines and processes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience (ideally 10 years +) as an Accident & Health Underwriter with a strong understanding of underwriting principles and best practices
- Demonstrated success in business development and relationship management.
- Experience in one or more of the following: open market, schemes, or partner distribution channels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound underwriting decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
- Fluency in English is essential, with additional European languages a significant advantage.
