Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious engineer to join a growing team working across a diverse range of projects from highways and public realm schemes to large-scale residential, education, industrial and commercial developments.

The Role

Youll be responsible for delivering civil engineering projects to a high standard, managing junior engineers, and working closely with clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of multiple projects from pre-planning through to construction
  • Designing and reviewing, drainage, highways, earthworks, and external works
  • Preparing design packages for technical approval (including S278, S38, S104, S106)
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
  • Collaborating with structural engineers and other disciplines as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering designs across various sectors
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or Flow), PDS, and similar design tools
  • Experience working with Section 278, 38, 104, and 106 agreements
  • Ability to manage workloads, mentor others, and work effectively in a small, close-knit team
  • A passion for delivering high-quality work and continuously improving processes

Chartered status (or working towards it) with ICE or a similar institution would be advantageous.
