Senior/Associate Structural Engineer

Senior or Associate Structural Engineer needed for a Structural consultancy based in Berkshire (Moving too a brand new office), specialising in residential structures, Steel, RC & Load baring Masonry.\\n\\nAs the Senior or Associate Structural Engineer, you will have heaps of exposure to large new build developments and complex refurbishments.\\n\\nYou will enjoy being hands of and at the forefront of multiple large scale projects! You will also be very well organized and adapt to project management.\\n\\nTypes of projects:\\n\\n• Large multi-storey RC mixed used schemes in London.\\n\\n• Large housing and apartment developments comprising load bearing masonry, steel frame and reinforced concrete transfer decks.\\n\\n• Building conversions (RC frames and load bearing masonry).\\n\\n• Refurbishments, primarily large Victorian properties.\\n\\n• Temporary works designs.\\n\\n• Structural Condition surveys.\\n\\nEssential Experience:\\n\\n• Team management experience, and experience in dealing with site queries quickly and efficiently.\\n\\n• Technical competence. Design experience in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry and timber.\\n\\n• Carry out supplier drawing reviews and help incorporate supplier requirements into drawings where necessary\\n\\n• Be familiar with proprietary products relating to your designs.\\n\\n• Create design guides, expand on existing library.\\n\\n• Experience in mentoring graduate/less experienced engineers.\\n\\n• Ability to work well under pressure.\\n\\n• Pro-active stance and a commitment to work strictly to programmes set by the Company Director, and to drive production to meet agreed deadlines.\\n\\nThis consultancy is a strong advocate of training and personal development through the use of annual appraisals and promotions.\\n\\nApply now for immediate consideration
