My client, a leading manufacturing company based in Marlow is looking to recruit a Press Brake setter operator on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and operate the press brake in accordance with work orders and technical drawings.
- Select, fit and adjust the correct tooling for each job.
- Interpret fabrication drawings to determine bend sequences, angles and tolerances.
- Program the CNC press brake where required.
- Check first-off and in-process components against drawings using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Complete SFR documentation for each work order after production.
- Capture and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Ensure compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
- Work proactively as part of a team to improve productivity.
- Experience operating a press brake within a workshop environment.
- Knowledge of fabrication machinery.
