My client, a leading manufacturing company based in Marlow is looking to recruit a Press Brake setter operator on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Set up and operate the press brake in accordance with work orders and technical drawings.
  • Select, fit and adjust the correct tooling for each job.
  • Interpret fabrication drawings to determine bend sequences, angles and tolerances.
  • Program the CNC press brake where required.
  • Check first-off and in-process components against drawings using appropriate measuring equipment.
  • Complete SFR documentation for each work order after production.
  • Capture and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
  • Work proactively as part of a team to improve productivity.
  • Experience operating a press brake within a workshop environment.
  • Knowledge of fabrication machinery.
